HEAT EXHAUSTION – SYMPTOMS – feel faint or dizzy, excessive sweating, cool or clammy skin, rapid, weak pulse. WHAT TO DO – Get to a cooler place, drink plenty of water, take a cool shower.
HEAT STOKE – SYMPTOMS – Throbbing headache and confusion, no sweating, red hot dry skin, rapid strong pulse. WHAT TO DO – Call 911, move person to a cooler place, apply cool compresses.
